Description

2020 shall be remembered as one of the strangest years in history. The current world events have pushed the envelope of remote working and the tools required to do so. As the makers of one of the most comprehensive video collaboration platforms in the industry, the Jitsi team at 8x8 has been hard at work making sure our users got the best video experience just when they needed it the most. In this presentation we will explore the latest developments in our projects, how the world events affected us and what the future holds.

Saúl is a Real Time Communications pundit and Fellow Jitster. He started tinkering with Asterisk in 2005 and hasn’t stopped working on the Real Time Communications field ever since. He works for 8x8 on the Jitsi team, specializing on the mobile apps. He is also the Self-appointed Chief Jitsi Evangelist.
